Factory Visit – Cooperativa Ceramica D’Imola

April saw YTC sales staff travel across Europe to Imola, Italy where one of our major tile suppliers Imola Ceramica welcomed us for a visit.

The team had a fantastic time and saw some amazing new innovative ranges (see below). If you’d like to continue reading about our time over in Imola head over to our blog post where you can find out more.

Kirklees Estate Gatehouse

Recently Craig Sellars of CJ Ceramics took on a huge project – to renovate this stunning Grade 1 listed 16th Century gatehouse on the said site of Robin Hood’s grave.

Because of the nature of the building and the fragile lime render, Craig called in the help of Lewis Lupton, BAL product support manager for The Yorkshire Tile Company.

“As soon as I was commissioned for this project, I immediately called on Lewis to provide specification and product support as I knew I would be tiling onto sensitive backgrounds.”

Find out about the specification Craig used to ensure that the building’s original fabric wasn’t compromised over on BAL’s website.

New Brochure
