YTC Make 6-a-Side Football Final

The YTC narrowly lost 6-4 to local tile company Nick Firth Tiles (NFT) in the final of the 'Bob Turner Memorial Football Trophy'  in a 6-a-side football competition held in Sheffield.

Both teams battled hard in an exciting game of football, played over a duration of 50 minutes. With 2 minitues left, YTC were 5-4 down and increased their attacking play in a desperate search for a late equalizer. Despite numerous attempts on goal from the YTC, NFT took advantage of YTC's minimal defence to score their 6th, seconds before the final whistle.

An exciting game for both players and spectators!

The football tournament was held in memory of Bob Turner, a local Sheffield tiler, who sadly passed away during 2005. The football tournament will be held annually with NFT now the defending champions.
