YTC Run for Charity in Sheffield Half Marathon

Four members of the YTC took part in the Sheffield Half Marathon on Sunday 20th May, which saw them raise £5000 for Weston Park Hospital & NSPCC.

Below is a picture before the race began at the Don Valley Stadium:

Chris Hiley, Adam Spooner, Ivan Crump, Simon Dickinson.

Over 3500 people entered the Sheffield half marathon with the YTC crew achieving the following times and positions:

Ivan Crump : 1hr 58mins 49secs (2234th position)

Chris Hiley : 2hr 7mins 10secs (2763rd position)

Simon Dickinson : 2hr 9mins 6secs (2854th position)

Adam Spooner : 2hr 37min 43secs (3563rd position)

Between themselves, they raised £2500 which was generously matched by the Yorkshire Tile Company to raise this to £5000. The money raised has been split and donated to Weston Park Hospital and the NSPCC.
