YTC Win SUFC Charity Bike Ride Competition
Posted: 7th October 2008
Sheffield United FC hosted a static bike ride competition for local businesses with all money raised going to the NSPCC. The YTC team of (from left to right) Chris Hiley, Dave Oxley, Chis Morrison and Matt Rigby managed to cycle a total distance of 33.93km in the 45 minutes of allocated time...
...the winning distance out of all the teams that entered!

Cycling pitch side at the Sheffield United ground, only one team member at a time was allowed to cycle. The team members would then swap over to do their share of the time.
In total, YTC raised £290 for the event, which will go to the NSPCC.
YTC were announced the winners of the competition during the
Sheffield United v Watford game on 30th September. Ex-Sheffield United
player - Tony Currie (2nd from right) - was there at pitch-side to
present Chris Morrison and Dave Oxley with a signed Sheffield United
shirt.
