Help a Hallam Child - June 2006
The YTC took part in a world cup themed fund raising event for local radio station charity, 'Help a Hallam Child'. By swapping their regular uniform for football shirts, the YTC staff managed to raise over £40 for the 'Get Stripped' event, held on 9th June 2006 - the opening day of the World Cup.

With Natwest kindly doubling the money raised by those depositing the cash at their nearest Natwest bank, the YTC in fact raised over £80 to the cause!
All money raised from the 'Get Stripped' event will go towards a new project called "Read to Succeed", designed to help the one in five children who struggle to learn to read. Ultimately, the money raised will help to pay for 50 additional teaching assistants in local primary schools, across South Yorkshire, over the next two years.
