Struggling with ideas for your bathroom redesign or just feeling overwhelmed by the sheer choice available? We've put together our favourite looks of the moment to help guide you in the right direction and get that interiors ball rolling…
Statement floor tiles Statement floors are extremely popular right now and I for one am loving this trend particularly as they accentuate any bathroom, large or small. In a petite bathroom there’s often limited wall space, so a statement floor can really add some oomph to your interior without being overwhelming. If you have a large bathroom (lucky you) statement floor tiles bring a sophisticated edge, just like in the bathroom below. Freestanding baths complete this look beautifully so keep your eyes peeled for these when you’re thinking about furniture. avnue bath

Natural Beauty Think natural stone, woody tones and plants for accessories and you’d be on the right track. All of these natural components help to create that welcoming, serene bathroom space we all dream of. If you’re looking to create that earthy feel then wood effect tiles could be the perfect option for you. Don’t be fooled into thinking wood effect tiles are just for the floor though, from images on Pinterest to interior blogs we keep seeing them tiled on both the wall and floor to create a cohesive and authentic lodge style space. wood f1

Looking for something less Scandinavian and a touch more regal? A timeless marble bathroom is one classic that never dates and is forever a favourite with our customers for its elegant qualities that’ll no doubt have you bathing like a royal.

Geometric Tiles Add depth and visual interest to a neutral space without using bright hues that can quickly become outdated with geometric print tiles. Geometric patterns have been hot news over the past few months, just look at all the interiors magazines - even top fashion brand ASOS have incorporated the trend into their office flooring. asos

We suggest keeping the colour palette monochrome to let the pattern do all the talking although if you’re the daring kind you could use a geometric design on the wall and floor like in the below bathroom. Teamed with simple sanitary ware and accessories it’s incredibly modern, chic and on trend. dimensions

Grey tones Forever en vogue, we think grey is here for the long haul. Be bold and incorporate fifty shades into your bathroom. If you’re not brave enough to go dark and moody then don’t worry, you can combine greys with creams or even whites to add a touch of brightness to your scheme. You could even pair a grey tile with a colourful mosaic to add a different texture to your design. colmena room shot
